Play as Skyler, the cheer captain of Sky High, and reach for the clouds in this platform game. You’re able to control Skyler just by tilting your iDevice. Bounce off of pom-poms and letters to reach the finish line. The game includes four environments, and more than 60 levels.

Lapse It Pro • Time Lapse Professional ($1.99 → Free, 9.2 MB): Create awesome time lapse videos with this photography app. It allows you to choose how many milliseconds, seconds, or minutes you want between each frame, or you can manually capture your frames with stop motion mode. Once all of your frames have been captured you can trim your video, add effects, and add your own soundtrack. The app also includes a handful of customizable image capture settings, four resolution options, two video rendering options, and a community gallery.

Table Top Racing ($2.99 → Free, 136.2 MB): A fast and furious racing game that features console-quality graphics. What more could you possibly want? Jump behind the wheel of one of the 12 upgradable cars and be the first to cross the finish line. Tracks are loaded with oversized obstacles and hairpin turns, so be ready for a challenge. Steer into the boxes littered about the track to receive a random power-up, and then unleash it at just the right moment to wipe out your opponents. The game includes a total of six modes, eight tracks, nine power-ups, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.

Especially one where you get to explore beautiful Rio de Janeiro! Gangstar Rio: City of Saints allows you to do that and much more. Travel through five different neighborhoods taking out bad cops, delivering packages, and, of course, stealing all kinds of different ground and air vehicles. Plus, you can deck your character out in all kinds of ridiculous outfits and accessories, and no one will judge you. Remember, you’re a gangster, and no one messes with a gangster! Not even a gangster in a flower shirt.

When the event is right around the corner, you’ll receive a reminder just like any other calendar app.

ThinkerToy Shapes ($2.99 → Free, 12.3 MB): Like to tinker? Then you’re going to love this creative toy for iPad. It comes bundled with 90 puzzle silhouettes, which are organized by theme. Drag and drop the pieces from the bottle of the screen into the top portion to complete them. You’ll have the most fun, however, creating your own puzzles using the provided palette of shapes, colors, and editing tools. You can even add sound effects. The app also includes an online gallery that allows you to upload and download puzzles.
